## Background

Ian trained as a professional classical singer at the Royal Northern College of Music, performing at venues including Liverpool Philharmonic Hall. He co-founded Select Performers (web hosting company) in 2003, and launched the Seriously Social blog in 2011. A viral 2016 article on Facebook Live attracted over 4 million page views and established him as a leading voice in live video.
